About Us
Starting at the age of nine I swapped my surfboard for a horse and started riding on the beach and in the Pacific Ocean in Orange County. I did everything on horseback because I had a disease that prevented me from walking for a couple of years. I swam them in the ocean, rode fence on Irvine ranch, played all manner of mounted games and grew up sitting on a horse, usually bareback.
Then I started my business breezing racehorses and rehabilitating pleasure horses at the age of fourteen. I professionally showed stock horses and International level hunters. My love was combined training which included cross-country jumping, dressage and arena jumping. During this time I began my work for private ranches consulting on equine stock management and selection. I also set up and ran riding programs for families at their ranches. My life has been full of working with horses and the people that love them.
This has all been the foundation on which I have built my career as a professional horse trainer, instructor and equestrian consultant. With forty-five years of riding I still love to be around horses and the lifestyle. |
